Yes, its a bad idea to hire a hacker to fix your bad credit - Inside Subprime 5

Yes, its a bad idea to hire a hacker to fix your bad credit - Inside Subprime 5/18/18 Yes, its a bad idea to hire a hacker to fix your bad credit Yes, its a bad idea to hire a hacker to fix your bad creditInside Subprime: May 18, 2018By Caroline ThompsonIf you have bad credit, youve probably spent some time obsessively scrolling  personal finance forums for advice on how to up your score.  But in  between posts about  debt relief plans, 401k contributions and credit card comparisons,  youll find people claiming theyve hacked their way to credit gold. I had bad credit, so I hired a guy to hack into the credit bureau mainframe and  increase my score by 100 points, theyll exclaim. Email him and hell do the same for you! This is a tempting offer when youre sitting in subprime territory. After all, having poor credit can mean being denied for credit cards, apartments,  mortgage  loans and even job offers. Bad credit can feel like a financial death sentence,  or an impassable roadblock. Unfortunately, hacking your way to the top of the credit crowd is probably not going to work out very well for you.Remember the age-old adage: if  so mething sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Before you send an email and half your savings account to a hacker you found on a message board, remember the source of this information. Just because someone claims to be a happy customer doesnt mean they actually are. In fact, theyre more than likely the hacker themselves, and any information you send them about yourself will likely be used to hack YOU, not the credit bureaus. In all likelihood, the person you email to help you hack you credit score is going to ask you for some pretty sensitive information: your Social Security number, your address, birthdate and even bank account and credit card numbers. Think of what they could do with that information even if they were able to hack into Experian and bump up your score. They could turn around and sell it on the dark web or apply for a credit card in your name.As The Huffington Post eloquently states: You’re hiring a hacker because you don’t want to play by the rules â€" donâ €™t be surprised if a hacker doesn’t want to play by the rules, either. As weve mentioned before, one of the ways to spot a scam is to look for misspelling and grammatical errors in the text. Scammers  actually include mistakes like this on purpose, because the kind of person who would look past linguistic inaccuracies is more likely to fall for their schemes in the end. Take a second look at that message board post.  Theres a reason its riddled with errors! While we learned this summer that its certainly POSSIBLE to hack a credit bureau, that doesnt mean that just anyone can do it. Instead of sending money to a stranger in the hopes theyll magically improve your credit, there are many actionable, effective steps you can take right now to improve your credit without breaking the law and exposing yourself to the very real threat of identity theft.Visit OppLoans on  YouTube  |  Facebook  |  Twitter  |  LinkedIn

What Is a Chemical Reaction

You encounter chemical reactions all the time. Fire, respiration, and cooking all involve chemical reactions. Yet, do you know what exactly a chemical reaction is? Heres the answer to the question. Chemical Reaction Definition Simply put, a chemical reaction is any transformation from one set of chemicals into another set. If the starting and ending substances are the same, a change may have occurred, but not a chemical reaction. A reaction involves a rearrangement of molecules or ions into a different structure. Contrast this with a physical change, where the appearance is altered, but the molecular structure is unchanged, or a nuclear reaction, in which the composition of the atomic nucleus changes. In a chemical reaction, the atomic nucleus is untouched, but electrons may be transferred or shared to break and form chemical bonds. In both physical changes and chemical changes (reactions), the number of atoms of each element are the same both before and after a process occurs. However, in a physical change, the atoms maintain their same arrangement into molecules and compounds. In a chemical reaction, the atoms form new products, molecules, and compounds. Signs a Chemical Reaction Has Occurred Since you cant look at chemicals at a molecular level with the naked eye, its helpful to know signs that indicate a reaction has occurred. A chemical reaction is often accompanied by a temperature change, bubbles, color change, and/or precipitate formation. Chemical Reactions and Chemical Equations The atoms and molecules that interact are called the reactants. The atoms and molecules produced by the reaction are called products. Chemists use a shorthand notation called a chemical equation to indicate the reactants and the products. In this notation, the reactants are listed on the left side, the products are listed on the right side, and the reactants and products are separated by an arrow showing which direction the reaction proceeds. While many chemical equations show reactants forming products, in reality, the chemical reaction often proceeds in the other direction, too. In a chemical reaction and a chemical equation, no new atoms are created or lost (conservation of mass), but chemical bonds may be broken and formed between different atoms. Chemical equations may be either unbalanced or balanced. An unbalanced chemical equation doesnt account for conservation of mass, but its often a good starting point because it lists the products and reactants and the direction of the chemical reaction. As an example, consider rust formation. When rust forms, the metal iron reacts with oxygen in the air to form a new compound, iron oxide (rust). This chemical reaction may be expressed by the following unbalanced chemical equation, which may be written either using words or using the chemical symbols for the elements: iron plus oxygen yields iron oxide Fe O → FeO A more accurate description of a chemical reaction is given by writing a balanced chemical equation. A balanced chemical equation is written so the number of atoms of each type of element are the same for both the products and reactants. Coefficients in front of chemical species indicate quantities of reactants, while subscripts within a compound indicate the number of atoms of each element. Balanced chemical equations typically list the state of matter of each reactant (s for solid, l for liquid, g for gas). So, the balanced equation for the chemical reaction of rust formation becomes: 2 Fe(s) O2(g) → 2 FeO(s) Examples of Chemical Reactions There are millions of chemical reactions! Here are some examples: Fire (combustion)Baking a cakeCooking an eggMixing baking soda and vinegar to produce salt and carbon dioxide gas Chemical reactions may also be categorized according to general types of reactions. Theres more than one name for each type of reaction, so that may be confusing, but the form of the equation should be easy to recognize: Synthesis reaction or direct combination: A B → ABAnalysis reaction or decomposition: AB → A BSingle displacement or substitution:Â  A BC → AC BMetathesis or double displacement:Â  AB CD → AD CB Other types of reactions are redox reactions, acid-base reactions, combustion, isomerization, and hydrolysis. Chemical reactions are everywhere. Learn More What Is the Difference Between a Chemical Reaction and a Chemical Equation?Exothermic and Endothermic Reactions

Ever Wondered What It Would Be Like To Live During The

Ever wondered what it would be like to live during the Renaissance? A lot of people wonder the same thing. The term renaissance is derived from the French word meaning â€Å"rebirth. It is used to describe this phase of European history because many of the changes experienced between the 14th and 16th centuries were inspired by a revival of the classical art and intellect of Ancient Greece and Rome. The Renaissance time period is very different from modern day life in the United States. Although the way of life now is very different than it was back then, the Renaissance period had a very big influence on the modern society and the way people live today. Technology, marriage, warfare, jobs, and transportation are among the major things†¦show more content†¦Yet there are some similarities, marriages were also very different than they are these days. Marriages back then were arranged, which meant the woman didn t have a choice who she was going to marry because her family d ecided this for her. â€Å"Marriage in renaissance times was viewed completely different than marriage in today’s day and age. One difference is that marriage in the renaissance was often not built on love but would be arranged by the families. Many times as in the case of nobility, marriages were arranged as a way to reach social and political gain (Anderson).† People in the renaissance also believed that women were created by God with the sole purpose of serving and obeying men. After marriage, a woman’s body and possessions became the property of her husband. A man was supposed to consummating the marriage and transform his wife from a virgin to a woman, ideally with a pregnancy. Once a woman lost her virginity to her husband, the consummated marriage was permanent. This is very different from today because women have a choice of who they want to marry and marriage is hardly permanent. Also, widowers aren t as common now as they were then. This was because then, husbands were on average fourteen years older than the women. Warfare back in the Renaissance was very different than it is now but it has had a huge impact on the way people see warfare today. â€Å"In the Medieval period besieging armiesShow MoreRelatedCultural Observation Project Essay examples1473 Words   |  6 Pages Cultural Observation Project 2 Name: Location of Observation: Coastal Grand Mall, Myrtle Beach, SC Date: September 28, 2013 Youth 201-Section #B01 What I Have Learned? Consumer Decision making Model Samples †MyAssignmenthelp.com

Question: Discuss about the Consumer Decision making Model. Answer: Introduction Consumer behaviour is the buying tendency of the people who agree to pay a certain sum of money in exchange of some product or service (Ashman, 2015). It is the study of how the consumers of a particular product or service seek, purchase, analyze and dispose of products and services. It is the psychology of marketing- the study is utilised to understand why consumers buy a product in the place of another similar product. Business organisations offer products or services so that they get money in return and grow the business even further. A business organisation operates in an industry or market of the specific product or service or business model that the company has adapted. In order to ensure that the product or service has a unique image in the company it has to device strategic plans, and understanding the trends or consumer behaviour is essential as it guides the company to develop, innovate, diversify etc in order to engage the customers they are targeting (Solomon et al., 2014 ). The strategies that the company formulates impact the customers of the company extensively. The strategies are a source of communication and regarding the products and services that the company is offering. It persuades the way the consumers imagine and perceive, the product and in turn influence the buying decisions (Sparks et al., 2013). The retailer that has been chosen is Amazon Australia; the company is a multinational organisation and is known for the customer centric approaches of business operation. The organisation is led by the visionary and transformational leader Jeff Bezos who has explained in several interviews that the focus of the company is to provide the customers with products and services which are at par with the needs and requirements of the company (Amazon.com, 2018). Consumer decision-making model A consumer avails a product or a service not always out of need or requirement as explained in the Maslows hierarchy of need theory. Apart from the necessities all other products that a consumer buys is based on various factors. Needs develop on the basis of the livelihood of a person and that influences the buying behaviour. Figure 1, shows the model of a simple process- there are input factors such as the efforts that the company makes and socio-cultural impact on the consumer initiates that process of buying behaviour among the people (Ashman, 2015). People get influenced by the marketing efforts of the company and also by the family and friends and other aspects of the society that the customer is in bound (Ashman, 2015). The Amazon website is known to be one of the most user friendly layouts where the customer exactly knows what to do in order to reach the desired product. There is also a list of promotional features in the home page that is cumulated by the website based on the previous purchases. The website tries to understand the preference of the account user and lists a number of items with promotional features. This is one of the ways of communication that the website has with the customers (Amazon.com, 2018). In order to buy a product from Amazons website it is mandatory to make an account with the website. Once you have provided your account details the company also communicates with the help of e-mail or sms. These are some of themarketing efforts of the firm that can influence the buying behaviour of the customer. For example, if a customer has previously bought cosmetic items from the website and the next time he or she logs in they are welcome with an offer on some of the items that the customer have in the wishlist, which may influence the customer in buying the commodity (Amazon.com, 2018). There is a feedback option of the products in the website where the previous customers can post about their experience with the product or the seller; this is also one of the ways in which the customers buying behaviour can be influenced. One of the disadvantages with online retailers have is that they lack credibility if the customer is not sure of the brand of product or the seller then they may be sceptical of buying the item right away. In that case, they will read the comments regarding the product and then make their decision. This is how the society influences the behaviour of buying from Amazon (Amazon.com, 2018). Needs and wants of consumers According to Maslows hierarchy of needs theory, a person has to be motivated to achieve something and these needs are to be attained in a sequence and some take precedence over another. The theory is explained in the form of a pyramid which sets the most basic needs right at the bottom taking a larger space, going upward is the psychological need and then comes the least important need for survival, which are the self-fulfillment needs (Kaur, 2013). The buying behavior of the consumers also can be categorized according to these divisions. Each of the categories is underlined by motivations such as necessity, urge of fulfillment, self-satisfaction as well as extrinsic motivational factors (Kaur, 2013). Recommendation The company should ensure that the product description is authentic and is a little descriptive so that there is little or no scope for miscommunication. Conclusion It can be concluded from the above discussion that consumer behaviour is dependent on marketing efforts of the company and psychological, social and cultural factors. These needs are categorised according to the nature of the product or service and are driven by several intrinsic and extrinsic motivations. References: Amazon.com. (2018).Home page.amazon.com. Fashion Designer Andrew Couregges essays

Fashion Designer Andrew Couregges essays The 1960s brought jet travel, The Beatles and the first moon landing. This new futuristic, youth-like mentality did away with the constraint of the 50s housewife. A sudden shift took place in the 60s towards being youth oriented. This sudden up raw started in London and is also known as the youth quake. The days of tightly boned silhouettes and high stiletto heels were banished by the innovative designs of Andre Courreges. Courreges designs proved to be his response to the coming way of life and sexual revolution. Born March 9th, 1923 in Pau, Pyrenees Atlantiques, and Courreges studied engineering at Ecole des Pont et Chaussees in Paris. Later on he worked as a chief cutter for Cristobal Balenciaga from 1950 to 1961. After working 10 years at the house of Balenciaga Courreges left with his wife as well as ex-Balenciaga employee, Coqeline to start his own business. Courreges believed that the fashion being made for women wasnt really practical. Courreges saw the male wardrobe as more logical and practical than a womans because of its unadorned and reductionist nature, resulting from its being pared down to the barest essentials over the passage of time. Courreges designs were a reflection of his engineering past as well has the skills he learned and perfected at Balenciaga. As a result he reinvented a new look of feminity, ironically quit the opposite that of Balenciaga. 1 Unlike the fashion of Balenciaga, Courreges used his cutting skills to free rather tan contain the body. He emphasized his theory by creating short trapeze skirts that showed extra movement and pairing the outfits with a flat shoe. A flat shoe makes women walk in a particular way, from the thigh and hip rather than the leg, moving the whole of the lower limb like a dancer.2 Courreges envisioned the movement of a womans body differently than any other...

IT Research Paper Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1250 words

IT - Research Paper Example Thus, it is advised by computer experts to keep a backup of the information and resources that are stored on computer systems. This paper will focus upon the various storage devices that can be used by computer users to keep a backup of their information and resources, and the differences between redundant and backup data storage and how systems fail and how can they be protected. Backup Media Various forms of backup media available to users include: optical storage methods such as writeable and re-writable CDs and DVDs, external and internal hard disks that can be mounted on the systems and flash memory systems such as pen drives, USB drives and memory cards. Information stored on optical drives can last for very long period of time if these drives are kept safely, secondly these drives are even available in write once only form. This is an advantage because the data that is stored on these drives cannot be replaced or over-written. These drives even come in re-writable form; this m eans that same drive can be used do over write if old information is no longer needed. These drives are easy to move from one pc to another, these drives can be used in several systems but one system can use it at a time. Another downside of optical drives is that the time taken by these drives to write data and store information on them is considerably high if compared to the time taken by flash drives and other forms of memory drives. Another form of backup media that can come in handy for computer users is installing a second hard drive internally or externally. The advantages of having a second hard disk are enormous. Firstly, the second hard disk can act as a backup for files stored on your system; this will come in handy if the files from the first hard disk are deleted. Another advantage of using an extra hard disk is that the process of backing up files in a second hard disk is faster as compared to backing up these files in an optical drive or a USB flash memory drive. Havi ng a second hard disk is even of advantage as the files and the resources that have been downloaded over time on the computer system can be safe and the users d not have to take the pain of downloading and saving these resources again. All the operations conducted in a computer system take place on the first hard disk or the primary hard disk, due to this continuous usage, the hard disk becomes old and starts wearing out and ultimately the user has to replace it. When two hard disks are involved in the process of running a computer system, the burden of running the computer system is shared and both the hard disks gain higher functional life time. Disadvantages associated with installing a second hard disk are few in number. Firstly, hard disks have to be dealt with extra care, misuse may easily damage or corrupt the hard disk and data loss may occur, secondly, if the drive is installed inside the system, moving the drive to another system might become difficult and during the trans fer, the chances of damage are quite high. One of the best backup media designed to-date is USB flash memory drives/sticks. The advantages of using this media are: they are very small in size and can hold huge amount o information, they are easy to move and do not contain parts that might get corrupted if they are mishandled. These drives are even better than optical drives as they cannot be destroyed due to scratches and dust. Installing them is much easier than installing hard disks as they do not need

War Strategists Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1500 words

War Strategists - Essay Example Consequently, Jomini’s theory of strategy entirely relied on geometric considerations. He advocated concentrating alongside fractions of the enemy’s force before striking the critical objective. Significantly, Clausewitz and Jomini theories have immensely contributed to understanding today’s military profession1. Accordingly, the FM 3.0 represents a revolutionary departure from past theories. It has engaged in an operational of employing such principles as offensive, stability or civil support operations concurrently as part of an inter-reliant joint force to grab, retain and exploit the initiative, accepting practical risk thus generating opportunities for achieving decisive results. The FM 3.0 operations significantly initiated a comprehensive change in the army by capturing the solder’s experience over t numerous years of extensive combat. It therefore changed the army’s conceptualization of operations hence it adopted FSO as a central tenet of h ow it applies its capabilities. Consequently, the concept of FSO plays critical roles in the army. FM 3.0 reflects an inclusive understanding of the numerous impacts of myriad years of persistent conflict in army operations. It puts emphasizes on people over technology, hence focus on an initiative and responsibility at lower levels of command2. It is worth noting that, understanding the operational environment and the intriguing problems, requires a precise methodology that expands beyond the military decision making process. Currently, the operational environment has experienced an enormous emergency of hybrid threats hence profoundly increasing uncertainty in the operational environment. In response, it has called for the need of creating teams to work closely with joint interagency and multinational assets among modular forces. Additionally, working with host-nation partners, teamwork requires extensive personal cooperation instead of military command. Finally, the capability to transmit clear and concise messages to target audiences plays a critical role in delivering lethal combat work. Consequently, it calls for an appropriate strategy in order to ensure victorious success in FSO. In response, current research has revealed that, the FM 3.0 has adopted a peculiar strategy referred to as blitzkrieg war strategy. Additionally, the strategy has based its foundation on nine compressive principles for success in FSO3. The blitzkrieg strategy entails employment of lightning attacks, overwhelming the enemy with speed ad concentrated fire-force. Typically, blitzkrieg strategy largely relies on tanks, which combine with speed. Its basic principle entails bombardment of a weak point in the enemy defense followed by feints and thorough probes to find a breakthrough point, plus a follow-up encirclement to prevent flanking and capturing remaining forces. Accordingly, at the defeat of the enemy, a follow up force may hold the position, while the main force moves on qu ickly to the next target. Blitzkrieg strategy works entirely by shock and depends entirely the maneuver and surprise principles rather than wearing down the enemy by long bombardment or pitched battles. Consequently, it represents a typical cross-country technique for conquering large tracts of relatively defended land. In addition, it implies distracting a dispatched the enemy from dealing with your attacks4. Similarly, the FM 3.0 provides

How the Other Half Lives Review Essay Example for Free

How the Other Half Lives Review Essay How the other Half Lives is an informative book disusing the 1900’s. The author, Jacob A. Riis, counts people for the census. He saw many different aspects of life in New York City during this time. He shares some of the hidden relations of tenement housing. He discusses the many different ethnic groups and how they form group characteristics in distinct neighborhoods. Riis’s personal opinions of the value and power of these ethnic groups comes through in his writing. His ideas reflect some of the national ideas during this time period. Blacks rank the lowest in society at this time. Riis credits this to natural selection. They are a race on the lowest level, defenseless against the woes of the landlords. Riis does not seem to hate the blacks, but accepts the fact that they are the lowest form of a person. Riis places the Chinese right above the blacks. He discredits the popular belief that, â€Å"the Chinaman being a thousand years behind the age on his own shore†, by stating that in America, â€Å"he is distinctly abreast of it in his successful scheming to ‘to make it pay.’† Riis thinks the Chinese are repugnant people. He starts off my discrediting their â€Å"grub-worshiping† religion. The fact that Chinese practice a different religion takes many people off guard, and they begin to insult the region, saying it is unworthy compared to Christianity. Along with these insults, the dreary neighborhood and past time of gambling are also pointed out. Chinese were the most hated group of this time period. Jews are the next group. Riis shares both positive and negative traits of the Jewish people. He notes the contrast in age groups behavior with a neutral perspective and even notes how they â€Å"honestly† stay home on holidays. Riis points out that they live in the most crowed houses that he has ever seen. Riis seems mostly neutral about this group as he discusses their desire for money. Riis thinks the highest of the Irish. This group comes up many times throughout his writing and there is never any excessively negative comments made about them, unlike when Riis discuses the Chinese. This ethnic group is often compared to other groups and is the topic of a lot of his writing. He notes their short falls, but always with positive rhetoric. I think he is the most considerate to the Irish because they had been in the country so long. It is expected that they are in the country, and some are even moving out of extreme poverty. They seem to have the most power in the tenements of New York. In addition to this, Riis is very familiar with the Irish. Some of his writing comes across as sympathetic, such as when he says the Irish, â€Å"falls most readily victim to tenement influences†. Riis does mention that Germans may have a better experience in America. He tells how Germans garden, and bring their flowers with them wherever they go, but quickly flows that by saying, â€Å"not that it represents any higher principle in the man; rather perhaps the capacity for it†. Riis favors the Irish the most out of all the ethnic groups. Riis mentions many other ethnic groups that are present in America such as the Bohemians and the Italians. However his opinions of the Blacks, Chinese, Jewish, and Irish come through with the most passion in his in his writing.

Ezra Pounds In a Station of the Metro :: Ezra Pound Station of the Metro Essays

Ezra Pound's In a Station of the Metro Before this week, I had never read any poetry by Ezra Pound. I noticed immediately that many of the poems are very short. "In a Station of the Metro," for example, is two lines. In the essay "Imagism," the second rule of imagistes is said to be "to use absolutely no word that did not contribute to the presentation." I think this rule helps explain why some of Pound's poems are so short. Obeying the second rule of imagistes will be harder the longer the poem is. This rule, however, does not seem to me a rule of imagistes alone, but of most poets from all eras. I don't think many poets could be found who would say that they try to use superfluous words. Just because a poem is longer than a few lines doesn't mean the poet is being long-winded. I think the vast majority of poets would say that they only use necessary words in their poetry. Of course it could also be said that words that seem superfluous do actually "contribute to the presentation." I have a hard time with letting Pound c laim this rule as one of the imagistes only.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   Besides it's length, "In a Station of the Metro" was a poem I read with interest because it is on the syllabus as one of the poems to read carefully. I thought it strange that I was supposed to pay attention to this poem. Truly, it initially struck me as the kind of poem that I tried to write in elementary school. Not that I ever wrote anything interesting, but the shortness of the poem and the pairing of two very different images was pretty much the basis of my poetry as a kid. I thought randomness made poems deep.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚   The title of this poem is very important as it places the reader in the metro station. While titles of poems and books are always important, this poem would be quite lost without it's title. The title lets us know that "the apparition of these faces in the crowd" takes place in the metro station, not the stadium or the shopping mall or any other crowded place. By placing the reader with the title, the poem lets the reader know that the first image of the poem, the "faces in the crowd," is something that belongs to the location of the speaker.

All of us have different journeys in life. We have different hopes and dreams that we cling on to motivate us strive hard to mark the goal. As a woman, I am fond of children and different kinds of personalities. I am just amazed how God create these people with different persona. They inspire me a lot. The children’s different personalities, simplicity and innocence are truly admirable. I look at them as special gifts from God that needs to be taken care of since they are also the hopes of our tomorrow. We should train them to where they should go and when they are old, they will not depart from it. Training these children with good values and morals in an early age really help them to be better citizens of our country. Moreover, the time has come to me when it is my turn to have mine. Life would not be as happy as today when I am able to have my own child. It is a great fulfillment in my part as a woman and as a person who loves children very dearly. God gives me a son on June 1, 2006 and he is 14 months old now.His ways really brought joy to me and I can say that as small as he is, his personality is totally one of a kind. Seeing him growing everyday makes my heart grow fonder. I just love being a mother and showing care to this tiny gift totally brought joy to my life. I have many plans for him and one of these plans is to use my education in psychology to raise him well as an individual. Beforehand, I am teaching piano lessons to different age groups. I am privilege to teach many children as well as adults and I love seeing all of their different personalities. Some of them are inclined to music and some are not. Some are fast learners; some are not. In every individual I meet, while teaching piano lessons, it just proves that people have different personalities and it interest me to know more about it. Reflection About Self Compassion - 1310 Words

Self Compassion and love are two things everyone needs to discover. When you discover the true concepts and apply them to your everyday life your outlook on life can be transformed. Using the concepts from the book â€Å"Self-Compassion† by Kristin Neff, I will discuss the idea of self-compassion and provide examples of my life experiences and strategies that I have used. Then I will use the concepts from the books â€Å"Lovability† by Robert Holden and â€Å"Whatever Arises Love That† by Matt Kahn to discuss the idea of knowing how to love and be loved. I will share my fears, doubts and difficulties about love and provide examples of my life experiences and strategies that I have used. Lastly, I will reflect on how I have changed and developed as a†¦show more content†¦I decided to try something different and retake the questionnaire and answer the questions as I think I would have answered around the age of 20. This time I scored a 2.43 which indicated that I was low in self-compassion when I was in my 20’s. I do not believe that age necessarily makes you have more self-compassion however, for me I have changed through the years as I practiced many of the ideas in the book and grew. Although I scored in the range of high self-compassion it was on the low side of this range which means I can still improve my self-compassion. Life Experiences When we focus on our shortcomings we tend to focus all our energy on our own feelings of inadequacy and insecurity. We then feel like we are the only ones who feel this way and nobody else has gone through what we are going through. If we feel unworthy we separate ourselves from others, we isolate and feel all alone. Unfortunately, the more we feel imperfect the more we isolate and the less we feel like we belong. When I got sober and started attending AA the feeling that I was not alone and that I belonged to a group who understood what I was going through helped me to stay sober. It is amazing how feeling like you belong and that you can be yourself with no one judging you, can heal your negative feelings about yourself. Impact Of Online Advertisement Social Media - Myassignmenthelp.Com

Question: Discuss about the Impact Of Online Advertisement Social Media. Answer: Introduction Background of the research The internet technology has replaces a majority of works due to which people develop the tendency to accomplish almost all of their work through internet. The number of internet users have been also growing since the introduction of the internet and in the year June 2018, it is expected that Indian internet users will reach the number of 500 million (The Times of India 2018). Moreover, on considering the utilization of the internet on social media, it has been found that majority of people use Facebook (30%) and YouTube (30%) followed by WhatsApp (28%), Facebook Messenger (20%), Instagram (19%), Google+ (19%), Twitter (18%) and Skype (15%) (Statista, 2018). Marketers nowadays thus target these sites for their brand promotion and give advertisement to raise the brand awareness among the people. This research will demonstrate the influence on the customer perception regarding products for purchasing due to these social media advertisement. Problem statement Bakshi and Gupta (2013) highlighted that advertisement is the best way of communication with the customers and making them aware of the products that is available in an organization. This enhances the brand image and their familiarity in the market (Solomon et al. 2014). There are several approaches through which marketers can advertise their brand- traditional and contemporary method. Tingchi Liu et al. (2013) portray that newspapers, billboards, radio and televisions are the old way to promote the brand to the users. However, in technological era, where majority of people spend average of 1 to 2 hours daily on social network, marketers have now targeted this media to promote the details of their brand (Statista 2018). However, the argument arises whether or not the promotion or advertisement made through these social media influence the people to buy products from the organization. Thus, this research will arise highlight the impact online advertisement through social media made on the purchasing decisions of the end-users. Aims This research aims on finding the impact of the online advertisements that is made through social media marketing for influencing the buying behavior of products. Objectives To understand consumer perception of advertising in social networks To research on the impact of advertising on social media Literature Review Concept of online advertising The use of Internet for the brand promotion in search of new customers and getting more orders from them is known as online advertisements (Taylor et al. 2012). Hanafizadeh (2012) furthermore stated that any form of advertisement that is broadcasted with the help of internet in termed as online advertisement. The major reason due to which online advertisement has become popular in nature is because it is inexpensive, can reach to wide audience, can be personalized to target more users and ease in tracking the progress or failure (Wang and Chen 2012). Category of online advertisement There are several approaches through which online advertisement can be accomplished. There are: E-mail advertisement The basic purpose of e-mailing is to send the message electronically to the receiver. However, the use of e-mail as an advertisement tool is developed when the marketer started emphasizing on customization of the advertisement (Hsin Chang et al. 2013). Azad et al. (2013) stated that e-mail advertisement help in raising the sense of being valued from the organization and they started feeling more committed towards the brand. This helps the organization to strengthen their customer base. Floating advertisement De Mooij (2013) depicted that these are the advertisement that often pop up in the window either in a full screen or to a smaller part of the window. Floating advertisement can be considered as a rick media advertisement that can be superimposed according to the user-requested page. Online marketers identify the sites or the products that people are looking for and then try to influence them for purchasing the product (Li and Kannan 2014). In recent times, marketers use different approaches like including sound, animations or design it with different bright colors of any shape for attracting more customers. Social Network advertisement Targeting the Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter or Google+ regarding spreading the news of new products that an organization launches or the improvement brought in existing products is known as social network advertisement (Gil de Ziga et al. 2012). These advertisements can be in the form of Facebook ads or sponsored tweets. Since people are spending a significant amount of time in social media and this is the reason that marketers use this kind of advertisement for sharing their progress for products improvements, different discounts and offers and future initiatives for the betterment of the customer relationship (Taylor et al. 2012). Criteria for advertising and promotion through social media Transparency of the advertisement content Hanafizadeh (2012) stated that online advertisement often does popped in the window while searching for anything over the internet. User may get attracted by the advertisement and click on the link given but if there are unlimited details regarding the products that results in confusion among the consumer, they are less likely influenced by the advertisement. Ease in finding the details The details of the advertisement regarding the products should be given on the first page after clicking to the advertisement window. This will help the user to make their mind for purchasing that particular product. De Mooij (2013) argued that if these details concerning the specifications have to be found out after lot of effort, the customer might lose their interest in online advertisement. Approaches to influence consumer perception through online advertising in social networks Show window pop-ups matched for the products that they desire to purchase Taylor et al. (2012) highlighted that marketers focus on the history of the users computer to list down the products that the user searches on the online purchasing websites. They save the cookie on their system and pop the advertising window on the users computer regarding the same product. The frequency for the appearance of this window can be repeated along with the different images or the most liked products picture in the range that the user previously liked (Bakshi and Gupta 2013). Attach the advertisement with the user feedback link A user can be easily influenced if many experienced user says that a particular is good and they might be easily convinced to buy that product. Majority of users look for the ratings and customers comment for gaining precise idea regarding the products. Solomon et al. (2014) thus highlight that in recent times, the online advertisement window also illustrates the rating of the products that furthermore attract the customer to make their mind for purchasing the product. Methodology Philosophical approach/paradigm Hughes and Sharrock (2016) stated that the sources from where the data are gathered in order to develop idea regarding the research topic are known as philosophical approach for the research study. The topic that is selected for the dissertation is impact of online advertisement through social media on consumer perception and the best data that can be gathered is directly from the respondents and thus positivism philosophical approach will be considered. Moreover, the data obtained and the research finding from research papers are considered for answering the research question. Since, no new theories or concepts has been highlighted, deductive method will be used. The reason for selecting this philosophical approach is that: The questionnaire will help to formulate the objective reality of the social facts The research variables can be clearly identified and the relationship between then will be effectively measured The questionnaire method will also helpful in measuring the research outcome without any biasness of the socially constructed reality Several question based on the research variable can be asked for addressing the research objectives The obtained results through the data can be easily reduced in to numerical indices that show the accuracy towards the research topic. Research Strategy Questionnaires are considered for this research, whose outcome will be evaluated quantitatively. Kitchin and Tate (2013) stated that quantitative data is more beneficial as it allows measuring and analyzing data for finding the research outcome. The research outcome can be effectively utilized for finding out the relationship between the research variable. In this research two variables are taken into consideration- online advertisement and consumer perception. The dependent variable is online advertisement; while, the independent variable is consumer perception. The questionnaire will be designed based on these research variables proceeded by some demographic questions. The demographic question is designed to take the basic information like their age, gender, perception regarding the social media and use of this media. The demographic question will be then followed by the details of factors that the users like about the online advertisement and feel about this variable. The next set of question will be based on their perception that is influenced by online advertisement. This procedure is selected as it will help to find the relations between the two considered research variables. Data Collection Method for gaining access Flick (2015) depicted that data can be collected for the research in two different ways- primary and secondary. The data when collected from the respondents through survey, questionnaire and interview, it is referred as primary data collection. On the other hand, when sources like newspaper excerpts, research papers and website published statistical data have been considered, the procedure is known as secondary data collection. Petty et al. (2012 stated that primary data collection method is selected the research is oriented for specific goals and purpose and the actual scenario can be portrayed through the collected data. On the other hand, Wahyuni (2012) argued that the approach of data collection is more time consuming and sometimes the answer given by the people not always feasible and they do not demonstrate the correct perception. In this research study, the primary data will be collected from random online users through open ended question that is formulated based on the resea rch variables so that the research objectives can be properly addressed. The reason why the secondary research has not been selected is that the secondary sources provide outdated data that may impact the genuineness of the research outcome. Sampling There are two sampling method- probability and non-probability sampling method. Bryman (2015) furthermore depict that when all the research respondents are provided with equal priority to participate in the research, it is referred as probability sampling technique. Moreover, when not all the respondents get the similar chance to participate in the research, it is known as non-probability sampling technique (Flick 2015.). In this research, the probability sampling technique will be used where research respondents selected through simple random sampling method. Moreover, the number of the participants participated in the research is known as sample size which will be 150 for this research study. Data Analysis According to Bns and Hv (2013), research data that is collected from the research is analyzed to find the research result to answer the research question. There are two different methods through which this analysis can be done- quantitatively and qualitatively. In quantitative data analysis method, the data are evaluated numerically; however, in qualitative data analysis method, theoretical data is considered (Coleman 2013). In this research study, the method of quantitative analysis will be utilized. The questions are basically based on two different research variables- online advertisement and consumer perception. The data obtained from the respondents on these research variables are assessed through regression analysis in order to find out the relationship between the two considered variables. In this way, it can be proved that these variables are correlated and there is an impact of the independent variable on the dependent variables for this research study. The questionnaire will be comprise of 15 open ended questions in which first five question will be demographic questions and the rest of the questions will be based on the research variables. All the selected respondents are provided with one questionnaire sheet and asked to return them within 14 days. The list of the research respondents will be formulated so that after gathering all the responses, it can be ensured that all the response sheets have been received. In order to avoid the uncertainty to obtain all the 150 response, more than 150 questionnaires will be distributed and only 150 fully answered response sheets will be considered. The frequency noted from each research question is depicted into charts and graphs with the help of Microsoft Excel. Challenges and Limitations The challenge that can be occurred is in finding the reliable respondents for the questionnaire survey. Since the topic is based on the impact of online marketing on the customer perception, it is hard to identify such people initially, who are involved with the online purchasing and knows the concept of online advertisement. Otherwise, the result obtained from the survey will not be genuine and describe the research topic. Another challenge that can be obtained is that the users will answer the questionnaire based on their past experiences which may results in damage to the findings of this study. This process indicates the biasness of the research result. Moreover, another challenge is to find out sufficient sources illustrating the similar research topic so that the findings of the research can be cross-checked. In terms of limitation, in this research only the people above 18 years are considered as these people are independently related with the online purchases. Thus, the perception below 18 years people will never be identified. Moreover, this research analysis is only based on primary research and quantitative study. Thus, no secondary data has been collected in order to cross-check the finding of the primary data outcome. Another prime limitation is that simple random sampling method is used based on which ample size from one particular location has been obtained. This is marked as limitation because the entire nation is involved with the social marketing and somehow influenced through online advertisement. Thus, the perception regarding the research question cannot be obtained from other demographic area. Ethical matters Miller et al. (2012) stated that following research ethics is important doe accomplishing the research without any problem and illegal involvements and the validity and reliability of the findings of research can also be obtained. This research study will also be conducted by following all the research ethics. All the research respondents are provided with consent form and duly signed by them. This will be utilized as a proof that all the selected respondents participated in the research at their will. Moreover, the data obtained from the respondents will be protected under the legislation Data Protection Act (1998). The data gathered by the research is also used only for finding the research output and no hidden benefits are there. Additionally, no respondents are forced to change their answer concerning the research question. Research timetable Main activities/ stages 1st Week 2nd- 4th Week 5th- 6th Week 7th-8th Week 9th Week 10th- 11th Week 12th Week Introduction Literature review and secondary data collection Data collection Methods Primary data collection and interpretation Analysis of Data Collection Conclusion of the Study Recommendation of the study Submission of first draft Table: Timeframe for the research (Source: Created by Author) Reference Lists Azad, N., Zarifi, S., Hozori, S. and Hashemi, S., 2013.
